THE COLOR

-COLOR: It´s a basic element of visual lenguage.It´s is a light impression that arrives to the eyes which send the information to the brain.

-PIGMENT: It´s a sustance that make the materials for paint, It can be natural or artificial.

THE THREE PROPERTIS OF COLOR

-HUGE: Also called Tone or Tint , it´s the name of the color defined.

-SATURATION: Degree of purity of a color. If acolor is very saturated it means that is very pure and doesn't have many color mix.

-VALUE: Sometimes called brightness or luminosity. It is the aumont of black or white that a color has in it´s mix.

-THE COMPLEMENTARY COLOR: They are pairs of colors wich are located one in front of each other on the color whell.
-WARM RANGE: It´s a scall of colors that has either more yellow , more magenta, or bouthin it´s mixture. Theyexpress warmth, energy, youthness or proximity.
-COLD RANGE: It is a scale of color wheel and transmit the temperature sensation of coldness and distance.

THE TEXTURE

-TEXTURE:It is the visual and tactile quality of the surfaces due to the material.
-TACTILE TEXTURES:are those that can be percived through the sense of the touch.
-VISUAL TEXTURES:those wich can only be percived through the sense of sight.
-NATURAL TEXTURES:those that can be found in nature.
-ARTIFICIAL TEXTURES:are those created by the human being manually or menically.
-RUBBING TTECHNIQUE:it consist on frictioning or rubbing a crayon     

THE SHAPE

-SHAPE: is the external appearance of an object or element in a image

-NATURAL SHAPES:they ate the ones related to nature they haven’t been created by any human
-ARTIFICIAL SHAPES:shapes which have been created by humans or mechanical procedures     -ORGANICAL SAHPES:they are shapes that have irregular profile or silhouette as well s their inner surface. Organic shapes are usually natural even thoug they are sometimes artificial.
 -GEOMETRICAL SHAPES:they have two dimensions such a paper sheet a cinema screen or a canvas.

THE LINE

-LINE:the line is a drawing that goes from one point to another,it has a direction and a specific space. It serves to make the contours of a drawing.

                 *TYPES OF LINES:
                                 -ZIG ZAG OR BROKING LINES:It is a line formed by fractured segments                                               different directions

        
                                 -WAVY LINE:They are lines formed by wavy segments
                                 -CURLY LINE: they hold more curves than wawy lines and show loops.
                                 -SCRIBBLE: chaotic or meaninglengs lines that are traced owl                              childhood or to fell in some area with a a particular texture.
 
-HATCHING: it is a way of shading or giving to res to the areas of objects or surfaces with paralels lines
-CROSS HATCHING:  it is a way shedding areas of a drawing or surfaces with paralels lines in several direction
-DASHED LINES: they are lines which are not continuos formed by little traces or dots
-BLURRED: they are very soft or vanished so they are hard to see an opposite to intense and deep
-SIMPLEM LINES: they are lines composed by fragment of several straight and curve lines
               
                 *EXPRESIVENESS OF LINES:

-VERTICAL LINES: they express an accident of descendent movement, depending on how they are used.
 -HORIZONTAL LINES:they produce visual feeling on stability and columnas or tranquility but they can be monotone if they are used too much
-SWEW LINES EXPRESSIVENESS: they produce unsteadiness and movement feeling.

ARTISTIC

BASIC ELEMENTS OF VISUAL REPRESENTATION:
-DOT:It is the smallest and most simpleelement in art expression.It may havedifferents qualities such as size, shape and color.
-THE DOT THREE DIMENSIONAL CAPACITY:When the size,shapes and colors are changed,the dots can create visual sensations of spacial depness and volume.
-THE DOT EXPRESSIVE CAPACITY:The dot has unlimited capacity to represent images and to express ideas and emotions.
-OPTICAL MIX:When the colors are mixed with the help of distance.Paint isn´t mixed on the palette or on the paitting.The optical mix was used first by the pointillist.

-PARALLELS:They are lines which never intersect themselves so all their points are equidistant.

-PERPENDICULAR:They are lines which meet forming four right angles.

-OBLIQUE:They are lines which aren´t parallels neither perpendicular.

-ANGLE:It is a figure formed by two rays ( side of angles) shaving a common endpoint (vertex)

-CIRCLE:Set of points at the same distance (equidistant) to a point called center ( the line).

-RADIUS:It is the length of a line segment from the center to an other part of the circle.
-DIAMETER:A line segment that passes through the center and conects two points of a circle.
-CHORD:It is a line segment conect two different points of the circle and don´t pass to the center
